If you’re trying to juggle work, errands, school runs, and everything in between, our doggy day care in Chelmsford can be the bit that takes the pressure off. At Little K Pet Care, we look after your dog in a calm, home-from-home setting, so you can get on with your day without worrying they’re bored or unsettled.
We keep our day care personal. Your dog isn’t just “one of many”, and we don’t run things like a noisy indoor playground. We watch how they’re feeling, what they enjoy, and what helps them relax.
Some dogs love company and play. Others want a bit of fuss, a wander, then a decent nap. Most sit somewhere in the middle, and that’s what we plan around.
Our job is to make the day feel steady and safe. When a dog knows what’s coming next, they settle faster, and you usually notice it at home too.
We build the day around the basics done properly. Time to move, time to rest, and plenty of supervision so things stay friendly and manageable. If your dog is a bit unsure, we take things slowly. If they’re confident and social, they’ll get the interaction they’re after without it turning into chaos.
It’s the sort of day that leaves most dogs content rather than wired. That’s the aim.
Puppies can be a lot, especially when you’re trying to stick to training and still keep up with normal life. Our puppy day care is about helping them learn good habits without overdoing it.
They get attention, breaks, and a pace that makes sense for a young dog. You’ll often find they’re easier at home after a structured day, and you’re not starting the evening with a puppy bouncing off the walls.
We keep pricing clear, with options depending on how long you need.
Half a day (up to 6 hours) is £20. At weekends, a half day is £30.
A full day (6 to 10 hours) is £30. At weekends, a full day is £40.
Our puppy rate is £27 per day. If your dog would benefit from a longer walk, we can add an extra hour for £5.
We’re fully insured, and we take responsibility seriously. This isn’t a sideline or a quick favour, it’s our work and we treat it that way.
We’re also experienced with different ages and needs, including senior dogs and dogs that need a bit more support. If your dog needs oral medication, or you want the reassurance of first aid and CPR experience behind the scenes, you’re in the right place.
If you’re thinking about doggy day care in Chelmsford, get in touch and tell us a bit about your dog and your routine. We’ll talk it through and help you work out whether half days, full days, or the odd day here and there makes the most sense.
